For conservation treatment of a locally important Card Table, work to be performed by furniture conservator Pamela Kirschner.

American Folk Art Museum , New York City (New York County)    $3,000

 Towards the cost of conservation treatment of the architectural model,              "Visionary Museum," work to be performed by conservator I. Joseph Ciarello.

Susan B. Anthony House, Rochester (Monroe County)    $1,310 for conservation treatment of Susan B. Anthony's decorative painted tambourine (1870-1900), work to be performed by paintings conservator Susan Blakney of WestLake Conservators, Ltd.

Leo Baeck Institute, New York City (New York County)     $2,255

For conservation treatment of the unstable 1820 oil painting "Portrait of a Man Smoking a Pipe," and its frame; and for treatment of the frame of the Franz Joseph Kisling oil "Portrait of A. Ettinger." Painting conservation to be performed by Paul Himmelstein of Appelbaum & Himmelstein Conservators; gilded frame restoration by Peter Stetler.

Bartow Pell Landmark Fund, Bronx (Bronx County)     $3,000

Towards the cost of conservation treatment of the c. 1930 oil portrait "Zelia Preston Hoffman, founder of the International Garden Club; work to be performed by paintings conservator Paul Himmelstein of Appelbaum & Himmelstein Conservators.

Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society, Buffalo (Erie County)   $2,460

Towards support of conservation treatment for two New York State Native American objects- a pair of Tuscarora beaded leather moccasins, and a Seneca corn husk doll. The work is to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Cayuga Museum of History, Auburn (Cayuga County)     $6,378

Full funding for conservation treatment of the 1939 oil painting "Romance Map of the Finger Lakes," treatment to be performed by paintings conservator Susan Blakney of WestLake Conservators, Ltd.

Chemung County Historical Society, Elmira (Chemung County)   $1,500

Support towards the conservation treatment of U.S. flags with local provenance; work to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Fenton History Center, Jamestown (Chautauqua County)     $2,313

Full funding for conservation treatment of Johannes Adam Simon Oertel's 1866 oil painting "An Army Supply Train in the Shenendoah Valley;" work to be performed by paintings conservator Tracy Dulniak of Great Lakes Art Conservation.

Fishkill Historical Society, Fishkill (Dutchess County)         $4,350

For conservation treatment of one Sully style frame original to an Ammi Phillips portrait; work to be performed by Eric Price, conservator of gilded objects.

Fred J. Johnston Trust / Friends of Historic Kingston, Kingston (Ulster County)         $4,000

Towards stabilizing conservation treatment of silk embroidered needlework pictures; work to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Full funding for conservation treatment of the 17th century Flemish oil on copper painting by Abel Grimmer, "Autumn Scene." Work is to be done by paintings conservator Alexander Katlan.

Granger Homestead Society, Canandaigua (Ontario County)    $7,500

Full funding for the stabilization and conservation treatment of a 1900 Portland Cutter sleigh, work to be done by conservator Brian R. Howard of B.R. Howard & Associates.

Guernsey Memorial Library, Norwich (Chenango County)    $   900

Conservation treatment of two oil portraits: "David Maydole" and "Col.Wm. B.Guernsey;" work to be performed by paintings conservator C.R. Jones.

Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, Goshen (Orange County)   $2,675

Towards the cost of conservation treatment of a 12th century French Gothic stained glass panel, "Presentation of the Christ Child in the Temple," work to be performed by conservator Diane Rousseau of Cummings Stained Glass Studios, Inc.

 Towards the conservation treatment of the 1852 marble sculpture "Cupid & Psyche" by Giovanni Maria Benzoni; work to be performed by objects conservator Won Yee Ng.

Madison County Historical Society, Oneida (Madison County)     $1,637

Full funding for conservation treatment of Peter Smith's 1797 manuscript indenture, to include exhibition and storage mounting presentation formats; work to be performed by paper conservator Michelle Phillips of West Lake Conservators, Ltd.

For conservation of two printed parchment documents (1785 & 1894), treatment to be done by paper conservator Nelly Balloffet of Paper Star Associates, Inc.; and for presentation matting/ framing to be carried out by Dan Clement, Clement Frame & Art.

The Noble Maritime Collection, Staten Island (Richmond County)   $2,150

Towards the conservation treatment of two 20th century lithographs, "Self-Portrait" and "Moritiri" by John A. Noble; work to be performed by paper conservator Joanna Pietruszewski of the Laboratory for Conservation of Fine Arts, Inc.

Oneida Community Mansion House, Oneida (Madison County)    $6,200

For conservation treatment of an 1873-74 block-style signature Album Quilt made by Oneida Community members, and given the name "Best Quilt;" work to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Ontario County Historical Society, Canandaigua (Ontario County)  $3,025

Full funding for conservation treatment of an 1866 cotton flag quilt made for a resident of Canandaigua, NY; work to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Ossining Historical Society & Museum, Ossining (Westchester County)  $3,215

For conservation treatment of the 1849 oil portrait "Mrs. Isaac Smith" by Theodore Pine of Ossining; work to be performed by paintings conservator Alexander Katlan.

Oysterponds Historical Society, Orient (Suffolk County)          $2,246

 For conservation treatment of a linen Civil War recruitment broadside, "Zouaves 5th New York Volunteers;" work to be performed by textile conservator Mary Kaldany of the Textile Conservation Workshop.

Rensselaer County Historical Society, Troy (Rensselaer County)   $4,700

For conservation treatment of two 19th century oil paintings by Troy artists, and their frames: "Bend In The River, View Above Troy" by William R. Tyler and "Valley of Conway" by DeWitt Clinton Boutelle. The work is to be done by paintings conservator Hallie Halpern and frame conservator Ronald DuCharme.

Rochester Historical Society, Rochester (Monroe County)    $4,070

Full funding for conservation treatment of a c. 1862 oil painting, "Skating on the Genesee" by Emily Smith of Rochester, and its frame. The work is to be performed by paintings conservator Susan Blakney of WestLake Conservators, Ltd.

Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site Foundation, Buffalo (Erie County)  $1,486

For conservation treatment and framing of a 1905 letter by Elizabeth Smallwood, written in the margin of a C.K. Berriman illustration of Theodore Roosevelt's inaugural ball. The conservation work is to be done by paper conservator Patricia D. Hamm of Fine Arts Conservation & Technical Services.

For the conservation treatment of an 1896 colored lithographic poster, "The Lotos," by Arthur Wesley Dow; work to be performed by paper conservator Martina Yamin.

Southold Historical Society, Southold (Suffolk County)       $4,750

For conservation treatment of two 20th century Peconic School oil paintings, "The Artist's Studio" and "Cedar Beach in Winter" by Thomas Currie-Bell of Southold. The work is to be performed by paintings conservator Alexander Katlan.

Town of Pompey Historical Society, Manlius (Onondaga County)   $2,596

For conservation treatment of an early 20th century black lace dress; work to be performed by textile conservator Gwen Spicer.

Whaling Museum Society, Cold Spring (Suffolk County)     $7,460

For conservation of a significant 19th century Bedford-style whaleboat; treatment to be done by conservator David F. Mathieson and boat restoration specialist Peter Vermilya.

  Wilderstein Preservation, Rhinebeck (Dutchess County)      $2,228

For conservation treatment of the 19th century oil portrait painting "Catherine Murray Bowne Suckley" by Frank Fowler; work to be performed by paintings conservator Thomas Branchick of Williamstown Art Conservation Center.

The Yager Museum, Hartwick College, Oneonta (Otsego County)          $3,000

Towards conservation treatment of the 1909 oil painting "Cows on the Road," by Atkinson Fox; work to be performed by paintings conservator Cynthia S. Luk of Williamstown Art Conservation Center.

Yates County Genealogical & Historical Society, Penn Yan (Yates County)  $2563          Grant: $2,563

For conservation treatment of a 19th century primitive portrait painting "Abraham Wagener," by Yates County artist Edwin Alen; work to be performed by paintings conservator Susan Blakney of WestLake Conservation, Ltd.
