10 free, half-day, responsive on-site visits to your site, by individual 2008
Practicum faculty conservators and consultants, will be available to participating organizations upon application to LHC Executive Director Tema Harnik, between
March 18 and August 1, 2008. If selected, your organization can plan a mutually agreeable date and time in that period for a consultant to visit your house and
collections, provide an assessment or recommendations related to textile collections care, storage, access, reproduction, environment or exhibition. Once
the visit has been made, the site and the consultant report back to LHC, and LHC will pay the consultant directly for half-day time and travel.
You can only apply for a Responsive House Call site visit once the practicum is
underway (after the first March 17th workshop). Requests for textile expert House Calls will be considered first-come, first-served. Applicants must attend at least
