Listing of resources, granting agencies, services, organizations, etc. for museums and historical agencies.

Lower Hudson Classified
Our job opening and resume files can help LHC members find the right position or the right person. Job openings are listed in a quarterly newsletter (free to members). Individuals offering professional services ads in the newsletter.

Consultant's Registry
LHC maintains resume files and referral information on individuals who register as professional/consultant members or who have served as Handling History workshop faculty.

Conservation Treatment Grant Program
The Conservation Treatment Grant Program, administered by Lower Hudson Conference (LHC) in association with the Museum Program of the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), provides support for treatment procedures to aid in stabilizing and preserving objects in collections of museums and historical organizations in New York State.

Cooperative Library  and Research Services
Nonprofit arts and humanities information books, videos and cassettes cover all aspect of archive, historical society and museum operations; volunteer management, grantsmanship, and collections care topics. On Tuesdays or Wednesdays you will also have access to the resources of the Westchester County Archives and the Westchester County Historical Society Library.
